ClueCon Day 1 - The Coder Games
The Maker Challenge
This year’s Maker Challenge was a battle royale of epic proportions where we challenged attendees to build cars for a high-stakes balloon-popping showdown. The last battle car standing with its balloon still in tact, Blue and Green (pictured top), was named the winner!
FreeCYCLED Hacks
For the FreeCYCLED Hacks challenge, we built Rube Goldberg Machines using only household items! The goal? The machine had to successfully hang up a phone that was playing a VERY annoying song. In the end, the Rollercoaster (pictured top) was crowned the winner for putting an effortless end to the phone call.
SignalWire Challenge
Participants in the SignalWire Challenge put SignalWire’s AI Agent to the test with demos of their own using SignalWire’s AI technology. We got a sneak preview of each demo today, but results are coming on Thursday! That means it’s not too late to join this challenge for a chance to win awesome prizes – like an iPad and a portable monitor.
Bobby’s Table, A Google Adventure
Brian West is one of the founders of the FreeSWITCH open source project, and an advanced communications pioneer. He is a key player in helping SignalWire to build a cutting edge platform that will disrupt the telecommunications status quo, including one of SignalWire’s newest products - the AI agent. In his presentation, he talked about how he took a lowly restaurant reservation system to a whole new level via Google Business listings.
